Ceramic Coating – A ceramic coating is a solution of ceramic nano particles which are suspended in a clear resin, when applied to paintwork this hardens and cross-links at a chemical level in order to form a protective, impermeable layer. This level of protection isn’t as comprehensive as paint protection film but highly beneficial to your paint’s protection, gloss and longevity.
Most, if not all ceramic coatings should be applied professionally, in a dry, warm & dust free environment. Failure to maintain all of the above conditions will etch fine marring into the paint & will stop the ceramic coating from adhering and curing to its optimum resulting in poor performance and longevity – resulting in the coating not lasting as long as it should and not performing as well as it should.
